Pay once, explore all season!

The grounds are where Dunollie really opens up. A short loop of woodland trails connects the castle, the Faerie Garden, the World of Trees and the spectacular Willow Hall, with viewpoints out across Oban Bay to Kerrera and the islands beyond.

Children have the Dunollie Explorers Trail and the Mythical Creatures QR trail to follow, and there’s enough room for the whole thing to feel like a proper escape, not a quick walk through.

You don’t need to be in a hurry. The Kettle Garden Cafe sits in the middle of it for home baking and lunches, the Draper’s Shop is round the corner, and dogs are welcome on a lead in the outdoor spaces. Twenty minutes’ easy walk from the centre of Oban, with parking in the site if you’re driving. Once you’re in, your ticket becomes an annual pass, so the grounds are open to you whenever you fancy a return through the season.
